POSCO TJ Park Prize

20th '2026 POSCO TJ Park Award'

POSCO TJ Park Foundation held the
20th "2026 POSCO TJ Park Prize" ceremony on April 22rd at the POSCO Center.

At the 20th POSCO TJ Park Prize Awards Ceremony in 2026, Professor Kyungsoo Choi of the School of Mathematics at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study received the Science Prize, Seoul Girls’ Commercial High School received the Education Prize, Yeonsu Choi, Executive Director of Hanbit Youth Foundation, received the Community Service Prize, and Jeongki Ro, CEO of APS, received the Technology Prize. Each laureate was awarded a trophy and a prize of KRW 300 million.

Jang In-hwa, Chairman of the POSCO TJ Park Foundation, stated, “Although this year’s laureates have pursued different paths in their respective fields, they share a common commitment and aspiration to build a better society. Thanks to their dedication and courageous choices, we are able to envision greater possibilities, and future generations can continue to pursue even bigger dreams.”

The ceremony also featured a special congratulatory message delivered through an AI-generated video recreating the likeness of the late Honorary Chairman Tae Joon Park.

Established in 2006, the POSCO TJ Park Prize honors individuals and organizations that embody POSCO’s founding values of creativity, talent development, sacrifice, and service. Through the Prize, the POSCO TJ Park Foundation seeks to promote public interest and participation in these values and contribute to the advancement of society.
