POSCO TJ Park Foundation (Chairman Sunuk Kim) has announced of ‘2020 POSCO TJ Park Prize’ award on June 1.

POSCO TJ Park Prize is awarded to an individual or organization with outstanding contribution in science, education, philanthropy, and technology. Candidate recommendation is received from June to September, and winners are selected February of next year, and awarded April.  Each winner receives a 200 million KRW cash prize and a plaque.

POSCO TJ Park Prize was established to honor the achievements of the late Chairman Tae-joon Park, who started POSCO and developed into a world-class steel mill, and to contribute to national progress by expanding public attention and participation in company’s founding principles, which are creativity, nurturing talent, and philanthropy.  The prize has been awarded since for 13 years since 2007, and Science Prize, Education Prize, Community Development & Philanthropy Prize and Technology Prize have been awarded to 44 Koreans and Asians until 2019.

Please recommend candidates for ‘2020 POSCO TJ Park Prize’ that will be the light of our society.
