The POSCO TJ Park Foundation (Chairman Kim Sun-wook) selected the following three ‘Heroes on the Road’ as POSCO Heroes and delivered plaques and scholarships. Kim Do-jung(46), who saved the unconscious child with CPR and moved to the hospital by his car, Song Dae-woong(43), who stopped a running bus, and put out a fire and rescued the occupants, Lee Kyu-sang(25), who found a drunk driving vehicle on the highway and pursued it for 40 minutes, contributing to the arrest.

Kim Do-jung, who was selected as a POSCO Heros this time, found a woman holding a child who had collapsed without consciousness in the signal atmosphere near Songpa Street in Seoul on 27 November, recovered the child's consciousness with direct CPR, and took her to the hospital by his car when the ambulance did not come quickly in cold weather.

Mr. Kim said, "I saw a woman crying with a child and ran out of the car intuitively thinking, ‘This is a serious situation’, and after arriving at the hospital, his mother said she was grateful and gave some money to express gratitude, however he refused it and left the hospital.

Mr. Song Dae-woong, who was driving a city bus in Gyeongju, witnessed a vehicle crash at a range near Geoncheon IC on December 29, and when the accident occurred, he stopped operating the bus and took out the fire extinguishers and spare fire extinguishers left on the bus and extinguished the fire.

Mr. Song, who rescued a woman in her 20s who was in the accident car with a quick initial response, and prevented a big fire from spreading, said, "I just did what I had to do as a citizen," and said, "I'm glad it doesn't lead to more damage."

Lee Kyu-sang, a college student, found a vehicle suspected of drunk driving while driving on a highway near his residence on December 30, and after calling the police, pursued it, contributing to police arresting the driver of the license revocation level.

When the drunk-driving vehicle exited from the highway to the national highway, Mr. Lee kept telling the police of its location and chased him, saying, "I was hoping that the amount of drunk parking would not be an accident after more than 40 minutes." He said, "It was lucky that we could stop the amount of drunk parking before entering the city and prevent further damage."
