The POSCO TJ Park Foundation will host the 2025 POSCO TJ Park Prize Award Ceremony on April 2 at the POSCO Center. This year marks the 19th ceremony, and the recipients of the 2025 POSCO TJ Park Prize are as follows: Science Prize, Professor Park Moon-Jeong (Department of Chemistry, POSTECH) / Technology Prize, CEO Kim Jin-Dong (Lake Materials) / Education Prize, Pohang Myungdo School / Community Development & Philanthropy Prize, Co-recipients Lee Chul-Yong (CEO, CAMP) and Chu Hye-In (Director, Sallim Clinic).
The POSCO TJ Park Prize was established in 2006 to honor the achievements of POSCO Honorary Chairman Park Tae-Joon, who laid the foundation for Korea’s industrialization and modernization with his dedication to national progress. Over the past 19 years, the award has recognized 68 individuals and organizations, fostering public interest and participation in creativity, talent development, and a spirit of service, which are the founding principles of POSCO. Each award category comes with a prize of 200 million KRW.
The 2025 POSCO TJ Park Prize Award Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 2, at 3:00 PM (KST). To ensure global participation, the entire event will be broadcast live on YouTube.
