President Ran Joo Lee of Asiasory has been continuing to participate in improving the inhumane treatments that migrants have been experiencing in Korea, starting with Bucheon Migrant Worker’s House in 1995 and Asiasory in 2004.

She’s particularly concentrating in supporting multicultural education and Korean education for the harmony between migrants and local residents, and is leading the enactment and revision of human rights laws related to Antidiscrimination Legislation in the attempt to make Korea to embrace migrants.

She’s also operating various programs that help the social development of migrants’ own countries through human rights protection, poverty relief, disease treatment, and educational environment improvement for migrants that returned to their home in Nepal, Myanmar, etc. She also plays a significant role in improving the understanding of migrants and changing the awareness through books and movies that represent migrants’ lives.
